My client is a leading provider of leisure and luxury hotels. They are looking to bring on multiple Master Black Belts to help influence and drive leadership within the organization. There are currently a couple of MBB?s in place in its headquarters and they have been leading CI activities over the past 2 years in part of the business. Now the CFO/COO wants to replicate this in the rest of the business which includes corporate and hotel group.
Key Responsibilities:
?Ability to apply strong consultative, relationship management and influencing skills at all levels of the organization.
?Lead process review and tollgates, facilitate team meetings, act as a change agent, and deliver training in all areas of the Body of Knowledge.
?Assist management and champions in selecting projects that align with business/functional goals and strategies.
?Mentor and develop Green Belts and Black Belts toward certification.
?Work with teams of subject matter experts to remove waste, reduce cost, improve quality and delight our customers.
?Share best practices within and across the business segments.
?Ensure project tracking dashboard is maintained and results are communicated monthly to the Director of Six Sigma.
?Ability to function with a high level of autonomy.
Skills and Experience
?Bachelor?s degree preferred in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Technology. Masters in Business a plus.
?Certified Lean / Six Sigma Master Black Belt.
?At least 5-7 years of progressive work experience with Lean Sigma Systems.
?Proven ability to interact with and influence senior management.
?Excellent presentation, training, and interpersonal skills.
?These individuals will possess strong business skills and technical skills in areas of: KPI?s, Visual Management Systems, 5S, Lean Methodologies, Minitab, Visio, DMAIC, DMADV, and team facilitation
?Broad business knowledge and ability to link customer needs with business processes.
